How TheFidgetKing Limited uses personal information.
TheFidgetKing Limited (company number 16947695), Vale House, Aston Lane North, Preston Brook, Runcorn WA7 3PZ, shop@thefidgetking.co.uk is the controller for personal information collected on this site.
What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone, date of birth), competition entries, orders, wallet movements, prize claim addresses, postal entry details, and technical logs (IP address, user agent) used for security and audit.
Why
- To run your entries and deliver prizes (contract).
- To confirm you are 18 or over and to keep fraud and audit logs (legal obligation and legitimate interests).
- To send competition news only if you opt in (consent). You can withdraw consent in your profile.
- To take payments. Card data is handled by Stripe, not stored on this server.
How long
Account data stays while the account is open. Order and draw records are kept for up to 7 years for tax and to evidence winners. Audit logs follow the same period. Marketing contacts are removed if you opt out and we have no other reason to keep the address.
Sharing
We share data with Stripe for payments, with our email provider to send messages you asked for, and with couriers when a prize is shipped. We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
You can access a copy from Account → Download my data, correct details in your profile, close the account (we anonymise it), and object to marketing. You can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Contact shop@thefidgetking.co.uk for any request.
Cookies
See the cookie notice. The site needs a session cookie. We do not run advertising cookies.
